Pessoas idosas com Transtorno do Espectro Autista: um saber-fazer necessário

Resumo

Este estudo de revisão sistemática, de publicações entre 2015 e 2021, objetivou identificar e discutir estudos sobre pessoas idosas com transtorno do espectro autista (TEA) e possíveis contribuições da Análise do Comportamento Aplicada (ABA). Os resultados mostram que estudos sobre pessoas idosas com TEA são escassos. Nenhum foi encontrado sobre intervenções da ABA com este público. Os estudos são preliminares e, às vezes, demasiadamente superficiais. Urge a necessidade de desenvolver pesquisas que possam produzir um saber-fazer nesta temática, visto se tratar da associação entre demandas complexas da velhice e do autismo.
